On one hand you have a starting pitcher in Cain, who has only surrendered 3 hits, 0 runs in his last 18 innings, vs Latos who has surrendered 21 hits, 14 earned runs in 15 1/3 innings with a 8.22 ERA!! Also, Cain is 2-0 with a 1.08 ERA in his last 3 starts vs Cinci. The Giants have also won 5 out of their last 6 games and are playing really well right now. The double header yesterday in New York is of absolutely no concern to me, except for the fact that they won both games and scored 13 runs. Take the Giants.

Since he came up last year, Worley on the road has been money in the bank. This year in 2 road starts, he is 1-0 and has only given up 1 run on 9 hits in 13 innings. Compare that to Collmenter, who is starting for Arizona, he's been getting shelled for 16 hits, 14 earned runs in only 12 1/3 innings. That's a 10.22 ERA!! I realize the Phillies aren't hitting right now, but with Collmenter throwing batting practice tonight, I like my chances with Worley.
Take the Phillies.

The Nats are getting it done early in the season and one of the reasons is their starting pitching has been very good. Tonights pitcher Gio Gonzalez, is 1-0 with a 2.04 ERA and has not given up a run in his last 14 innings. SD's Richard is 1-1 with a 5.89 ERA. The clincher for me is, the Pods have never seen Gonzales and are only 1-6 vs. lefthanders this year. Take the Nats.

NY Yankees +125
NYY over 10
The Texas pitcher, Darvish, is averaging 6.6 walks this year and that spells trouble vs a Yankee team that is on a hitting and scoring spree right now. The Yankees have won 4 in a row, while averaging almost 9 runs a game and hitting .432 with runners in scoring position during this winning streak. I hate betting against the Rangers, but I see great value in the Yankees as an underdog and taking the total to go over 10. If NY can score 5 runs, I can't lose both. Besides, the Yankees have beaten the Rangers 5 straight times and 8 out of the last 9 games played. Take the Yankees and the over.

Good luck!!
