Games 2-2 -0.1
Totals 0-1 -1.1
Cinci -125
The Giants have now lost 6 straight in Cincinnati. Zito is 0-2 with a 7.20 ERA in his last 5 starts there. On the other hand Bronson Arroyo is 3-2 with a 1.81ERA in his last 6 starts against the Giants. The Reds have won 4 out of 5 and are starting to score some runs, averaging 7 runs a game in their last 4 wins. I'm taking Cincinnati tonight.
LA Angels -110
Ok, maybe I'm nuts for betting on the Angels right now because they aren't scoring many runs, but I really like CJ Wilson in this spot. This year on the road he's only given up 2 runs and 9 hits in 13 innings for a 1.38 ERA. He is 4-0 lifetime vs Tampa Bay. In 3 starts on this field, he is 2-0 with a paltry 1.23 ERA and TB hitters are only hitting a miniscule .141 against him. I'm taking the LA Angels.
Boston ov 9
I don't particulately like betting totals and I lost on the Yankees over last night, as they got shut out, but I really like this game to go over 9 runs! Boston is on an absolute tear right now. In their last three games, they have scored 26 runs with 20 extra base hits. Throw in the fact that Clay Buchholtz has given up at least 5 earned runs in each of his 3 starts. I really like this one to go over the posted total of 9. (If I lose this, I'm never betting another total).
Washington -135
Zimmerman, 3 earned runs, 13 hits and only 2 walks in 21 innings this year. Wieland has a 5.73 ERA and San Diego stinks. Take the Nats.
