Same scenerio at Olympic Kramer...don't really know tho...but just looking at the stats Kent appears to be considerably better?...but I don't have a feel for the MAC so couldn't say for myself.

after the wyoming game for ohio:

Injury watch

Senior nose guard Brett Sykes left the game on two different occasions with a leg contusion. Left guard Dathan Ferrainolo, subbing for already injured seniors Paul Johnson and Mike Eynon, left the game in the second half with an undisclosed injury. He did not return. Junior linebacker Errik Ejike left the game in the first half with a foot contusion and did not return. Senior safety Todd Koenig left the game late in the fourth with a shoulder injury and did not return. Junior linebacker Jordan Meyers followed Koenig to the sidelines after the next snap, also with an apparent shoulder injury. Mitchell sat out part of the first half tending to his own sprained shoulder. Several Ohio players needed IVs at halftime to battle cramps and dehydration on the warm afternoon. Kickoff temperature was 89 degrees.

Is that remark a reference to your avatar ?

Nobody has a feel for the MAC, nothing really makes sense in this conference. I was nearly ready to say Kent is the "class" of this league but they can't seem to take care of the football and it cost them dearly last week. OU is one of the few in the conference that historically can play a little bit of defense and strives to control the game and clock on the ground but they have been getting out rushed badly this year. OU is also missing a couple of key guys on the OL and DL.

I agree that on paper the Flashes are the better team but they have got to start taking care of the ball and Athens is never an easy place to go in and steal one. This is a huge game in the eastern division and Kent can not afford another loss to go 0-2. I'll pass, better stuff elsewhere.

:142smilie Good question Spang...could be some truth to that. :com: Appreciate your feedback on the MAC...I know it sure was crazy last year and remember a lot of you guys (that know it well) were shaking your heads. Sure looks like Kent should cover (if they protect the ball as you said).
