?They?re playing pretty good. They?ve played a really unbelievable schedule. They could easily be 7-2, they could be up at the top. I think Central Florida is still a really good football team, they?ve just lost some close games and played some really tough teams.?
?They throw more than they run, but I think they?ll do whatever they need to do to win. They like to throw the ball a lot, but they run the ball effectively too, they?ve got good running backs.?
?They?ve got some talent right now, they?re huge up front. They look like a Big Ten offensive line.
On the season
?I?m excited to get back to playing cause I?m embarrassed. I?m as embarrassed as I?ve ever been in 30 years of coaching. The only way I?ll feel better is if we go out and perform better.?
?We haven?t lost this team, they haven?t lost us. It?s not that. I?ve never been beaten this bad. I had one year at Findlay I gave up 61 points the entire season. I?ve never given up 63 points for any reason.?
?When you look at the stats, our total offense compared to where we were last year is within five yards. Our total defense through 10 games, is actually a yard better than last year. The difference is last year through 10 games we had four interceptions, 11 touchdowns. This year we have 20 interceptions, five touchdowns, and 18 fumbles (five lost).?
?The injuries this year have probably contributed to us being 3 and 7. But the injuries have not contributed to a 63-point shellacking.?
?It?s not so much about Central Florida as it is about us. We have got to go out in the next two weeks and get better. You never know when it?s going to spark.?
