I am going to watch, but I am thinking if I can get VIOLENCE and/or FLASHBACK at anything 9-1 or better, I am on that. Both are very lightly raced, but appear to be the best in Florida and California right now.

I am also going to make a couple small wagers on a couple of horses with Canadian connections and trainer Mark Casse.....DYNAMIC SKY (30/1 ML and will likely go up)....will appear in the Tampa Bay Derby next on 3/09 I would imagine....he was very wide in both turns in last race and was lugging in bad coming down the stretch and still allmost got there (TRAKUS technology showed he raced 6 lengths farther than the eventual winner).....Casse needs to get him straightened out during the stretch runs, as he seems to be either lugging in or drifting out in every race....and if Contreras keeps the mount, he needs to figure out a way to save this poor bastard some ground. He still may not even be fast enough to hang with the big boys and this is a real long shot.

However, the other "Woodbine" horse, UNCAPTURED, could be the real deal....5 for 6 lifetime with his lone defeat coming when he got into a pile of traffic trouble in the G3 Grey in October at WO. The good news is that he seems to love Churchill (winning both the Iroquois and Kentucky Jockey Club there last fall) and his pedigree suggests he can get the distance.....The bad news, however, is that he has not recorded an official work since that victory in the G2 KJC at the end of November. Casse has indicated he has been training very well however, and will take the "synthetic" route to the Derby with starts in the Spiral at Turfway and then the Blue Grass at Keeneland. I really like this animal.

Last one I am going to grab at 50-1 is FRAC DADDY. Threw a clunker in his last, but he grabbed a quarter real bad (as I have tried to link to a picture below)....Not sure how this will affect his schedule, as he missed training because of the injury, however McPeek is still quite high on this horse, and the dam side of his pedigree is filled with stamina, so the distance shouldn't be a factor for him....worth a shot at this price in my estimation.
