In the shadows
More unemployment, more animosity, more have nots, more.....

Just look at what has been happening around the nation at the Universities and the students protesting the Fee Hikes. Anyone think the cops went over the top there?

glad you asked bud(and i must say i have absolute sympathy for your situation...i`m just being realistic)....

I didn't ask you what you would do as a "gub mint", bud, I asked you what these people should do. This would get to the heart of what I consider to be "realistic." It's easy to be realistic about things that don't impact you personally, and to be righteous and indignant about things that you feel cause harm to you.

My point is, there are a lot of people these days that think they are being realistic about OTHER people's lives and situations, when they have no understanding of what they have to deal with.

Under a mask.
who cares whether he voted for it?...it`s now written into law...about a month ago?....

shows you exactly what laws mean to the party in power...

unemployment insurance?....26 weeks?...it`s been extended for nearly 2 years,brainiac...

that`s welfare...they`re enablers..little incentive to find work....

For what its wort I collected for about 10months.I was hoping my construction job would get better. It did not.My new unemployment would of been a new claim at a reduced rate.

So I bit the bullet and did find a job but at a pay decrease.(benefits are good once they kick in.).

So this 2year unemployment myth is a lie.In Mass. you get 1 extension and if you have worked periodically in the last year you do not qualify for a 2nd extension.

I did note that of 20+ resumes sent out I heard back from 1 which they hired me.This leads me to think that yes unemployment is still needed until our country recovers.

And yes the majority of jobs I applied for I was qualified for. There were I think 2 that were borderline, just saying...

I think it might be an interesting exercise for some who have jobs and have not thought about looking for work for a long time, to go to the want ads or on some of the online job listings these days for whatever job it is that you do, or that you would have to replace if you lost yours. It might be an eye opener for some. If you haven't looked in a while, there are FAR fewer listings these days (I think it's slightly better the past couple months, but not much), and the competition and responses for those listed jobs are through the roof. Many people are taking jobs these days far below their capabilities and wishes, which is what people probably should do. But things really are tough out there, and if you haven't really looked at it, you might not really realize it.
