The Kentucky vs. Florida game sold out before the season even began, and according to one ticket broker, it?s the second most expensive ticket on the secondary market in college football this week.
According to this graphic by TicketIQ, it?ll cost you $130 just to get into the Florida game, which ranks behind only Iowa at Iowa State this week in their inventory:

On Stubhub, tickets currently range from $120 (student section) to $2,599 (club sideline). Yeesh! That?s a lot of cheddar.
?But totally worth it to see the Cats beat the Gators at home for the first time since 1986, right?

I WAS LISTENING TO McELROY & KANELL YESTERDAY MORNING AND THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT HOW MUCH FOCUS KENTUCKY AS A WHOLE WAS PUTTING ON THIS GAME AND REALLY OVER PAST COUPLE YEARS ITS STARTING TO OVERSHADOW THEIR HUGE RIVAL GAME WITH LOUISVILLE.

I?LL ADMIT ITS NOT THE MOST SEXIEST GAME IN TERMS OF THE TRADITIONAL BIG NAME MATCHUPS BUT THEY HAVE ACTUALLY HAD SOME REALLY GREAT HARD FOUGHT GAMES THAT HAVE BEEN VERY FUN TO WATCH PAST 2 YRS.

STILL PREFER TO WATCH THEM BATTLE ON THE HARDWOOD BUT ILL STILL TUNE IN :0002

It might have been better if Kentucky did not lose Terry Wilson our starting QB last 15 games, 12-3 record, with injury last week, out for season. Starting new QB with no experience against Gator DL could prove troublesome. Hope not.

edit....not Lyons, my friend name

I think the new guy will be okay, as long as our OL can slow down Florida's pass rush. On the other side our secondary is going to have to have a good game. The team that runs it better will probably win, just don't know who that's going to be.

If anything, the line in Vegas actually went down a 1/2 point ( Fla -8 1/2 to -8) when Wilson was declared out. Kentucky's offense was always questionable at best. With Safety Robinson also gone, Florida should be able to pass for enough points to cover this game. I would feel a lot more comfortable giving 7 though.

I listened to a couple podcasts talking about this matchup and both mentioned that the QB change may be an upgrade.

Doing okay Big G, just having a hard time picking winners. I'm at their site all the time, just need to listen to the radio show(s). Hope you are doing well, and hope we can beat Florida tomorrow.
