----Hillary Clinton, John Kerry and Barbara Boxer are now urging that felons be permitted to vote by 2006.

The "Count Every Vote Act" (LOL!!) also includes making Election Day a federal holiday.

There are 4.7 million people with felonious criminal records.

Hillary ---"Once again we had a federal election that demonstrates we have a long way to go.."

Kerry when questioned backed off like the pussy he is.----- "This has nothing to do with me," ...."It is not partisan, or shouldn't be."

Boxer barked that the bill "will make sure the serious election irregularities of 2004, never ever happen again!!!!!!" .

I guess if you think about it the extra 4 million votes from felons would be just enough to give Kerry the popular majority right?????? .......I smell a rat........or wait maybe that's Boxer's box

What other choice do they have do they have if they are to win. By their own addmission they know most felons will vote liberal--Quite possibly they could then have 3 segmants of population voting around 90% in their favor.Then they could apply for felons behind bars and pick up bout 2,000,000 votes.
I understand their stratagy considering swing states Pn and Fla are tied for 2nd with most federal prisons in the U.S. with 9 each

Let me give you a fact you can take to the bank. The enlisted military (not counting guard or reserves) do not waiver when things get tough--they get stronger.
If you think they are not beeming with pride in taking Afgan in weeks when soviets couldn't do it in years and Baghdad in weeks your wrong. You think they favor and administration that took collectively more time than both Afgan and Iraq to burn women and children out of compound in waco on our own turf--do you think they admire a commander and chief (pres) that lets them drag our soiders through the streets and set them on fire--and then cut and run. Trust me soilders do not have same mindset, you- Mr Bill and Janet Reno do--and you can be thankful they don't.

Well Ocelot, if that is your point, I believe that there are more people being murdered in the streets in any given day than in the Middle East. Since many of the victims have previous felonies under their belt according to all studies of recidivism, it looks like we are also seeing a decline in potential Democrats daily as well. Maybe this is just nature's way of balancing things out. Of course when Kennedy won the presidency, he did it courtesy of thousands of votes from dead people in Illinois. Maybe the Dems should try that again, too.

Huh? Victims had felonies? If that is what you meant that is interesting. In any case, I doubt many of those ever bothered to vote anyway. I didn't know recidivism studies concentrated on victims of crimes rather than the perps though I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
