Yes, he is a very good player. But year after year he does not show-up for the playoffs. He gets his rebounds, his assists, etc., but when his team needs a basket or a big play, he fails to deliver. His playoff FG% is 40% lower than his career regular season FG%...that is amazing. And common knowledge that the T-Wolves have never won a playoff series..a good portion of that blame has to be attributed to Garnett. He is the franchise players, he is the guy with the huge contract, he wants to be the man...yet he has never taken charge and took over a series like his capable of doing. The argument that he hasn't had a good team that was capable of advancing doesn't fly either..he has had decent teams almost every year that were capable of at least winning a series, but of course the best player on the team needs to play up to and/or over his capabilities. That has not happened yet, and this first game is an indication that it won't happen soon...missed 5ft shot after 5ft shot..travel after travel in the 4th quarter...sorry, but he gets a place on my overrated list.
