Anyone on here that has read my posts in the past should know I'm a diehard Eagle fan. I know this team very well and have posted when they were going to win and when they were going to lose in the past. I have not been right every time (most recently lost with a ML parlay against Arizona, but looking back on it I really believe Zona's D was amped to get revenge for Kolb and what the Eagles did with him. And make no mistake, the Eagles made the right call, Kolb is a bum, as proven last Thursday night and he will probably never win an NFL playoff game his entire career, IF he even makes it to one.)

All I've been hearing all week is how Pitt is getting Rashard, Troy and James back. Troy is not the same player anymore folks. Way to many concussions over the years and I wouldn't be surprised to see him retire in one or two more years. Rashard and james haven't seen a snap since last season.

Every excerpt I've seen on ESPN or NFL network starts ith "pittsburgh coming off a bye..." They are 4-1 off a bye under Tomlin winning their last 4 SU. Okay, let's take a look at who they played:

2008: Cleveland (They were probably 10-14 point favorites...

2009: Denver in Pitt on Monday night with Orton at the Helm

2010: Cleveland again and again probably a 10-14 point fav

2011: I love this one....SNF against a QB making his NFL debut...Can anyone name him? That's right...Tyler Palko of the Kansas City Chiefs. Pitt barely pulled this out 13-9

Vick has done a better job protecting the football and I think that continues today. I see him making some big plays downfield and Mccoy having another big game. And keep an eye on the Babin/Gilbert matchup. I think Babin gets by him early and often. And as good as Burger is at avoiding sacks, if Babin gets his hands on him he isn't going anywhere but down.

Eagles will have 4 wins by a combined 5 points after today.....

27-26 Eagles :0074

I think your analyst on Philly is suspect. They are the luckiest 3-1 team out there. Struggled vs physical defenses like Cleveland, Zona, and Baltimore. More of the same today, Pitt is desperate. If Vick continues to give away turnovers, eventually it will catch up to them. Steelers are a different team without Troy. Mundy is a huge drop off in talent. I really think this is a good spot for Pitt coming off a bye and desperate vs Philly coming off a big emotional divisional game vs rival NY.

Philly meanwhile is 3-1 SU and have been winning with smoke and mirrors. The Eagles and Michael Vick continue to turn the ball over as they are currently 26th in the league in turnover margin. Who better than to design a gameplan to confuse Vick than Steelers defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau who's still one of the best in the business. History shows a good time to play against Philly is after a game against the Giants as they are just 1-6 ATS their last seven in that situation. Meanwhile the Steelers are 7-0 ATS at home when coming off a SU loss with an average winning margin of 23 ppg.

That is my one concern that I forgot to mention. The Eagles are 1-6 ATS after playing NYG. Rashard better be ready to run in this game though, because the Eagles pass defense is offica...

Care to make a friendly hat/shirt bet for $30?l
