There is not near enough reward for the group play games.

Group Stage: 2 points
Round of 16: 5 points
Quarter-finals: 8 points
Semi-finals: 12 points
Third Place Game: 12 points
Final: 15 points


Too many points for knockout stage games compared to group.
This is still anyone and I do mean anyones contest because of the scoring system.
