Nothing new on the injury front. Miller and Norstrom are at least a week away. Deader and Ally end of the month at best. Kuznetsov still stuck in Russia.
Look for Lappy and Avery to rough up Smokes early in the game. The Kings took exception to the little shot he took at the Kings after signing a 4 yr contract with the Sens. "I came to an organization that wanted to win". Big mistake for the Sens IMHO, this guy disappears every playoff game for the Kings, and he did it again with the Sens last yr, yet he was signed for 4 more yrs. But alas......
Ottawa is 1-7-1 L9 @ LA
Ottawa is also 0-4-1 L5 vs LA. But the Sens were caught in 3/4 spots in 3 of those games.
Sens are 12-7-1 LY off a loss, but 8-3 off a Home loss
The Kings have the best home-opener record in the league at 5-0-4 since 1994-95:
94-95 Toronto T, 3-3
95-96 Colorado W, 4-2
96-97 N.Y. Islanders W, 1-0
97-98 Ottawa W, 7-4
98-99 Boston W, 2-1 (OT)
99-00 Boston T, 2-2
00-01 St. Louis T, 4-4
01-02 Phoenix T, 2-2
02-03 Phoenix W, 4-1
Check Horny's thread for more Sens info, of course
Good luck today!
