I don`t gamble college foots anymore...but I watch some of the local games when I can on the tube......
watching Maryland under edsall and they have to be one of the loosest,most undisciplined bunches I`ve seen in quite a long while.....s fla loses their qb on the first or second play from scrimmage and Maryland can`t get out of their own way....
Maryland`s been a mid to lower level univ.(sports program-wise) for a good while...some serious money must`ve been involved for the big ten to sully it`s brand with this bunch....
/as I speak,s fla fumbles the ball away(or maybe it was a blocked punt?) for a td giving maryland an undeserved lead....

I think Mich State, Ohio State, and Wisconsin will be good, not sure about Michigan but the rest of the teams are average to pathetic

Bama did play a pathetic team but they won........Big 10 playing pathetic teams today as well but the difference is that your conference is either losing these shitty games, struggling to win vs these shitty teams or getting embarrassed (see Michigan)..........Just the facts my man......I will admit when the SEC sucks like in basketball outside of KY, Florida, and Tennessee the SEC sucked in basketball and has for years ......Through the first 2 weeks the Big 10 has been pathetic
Michigan has a RB trying to play QB.......they look awful! Or ND is better than we thought. Probably somewhere in between.

don't get me started on the POS that is Kirk Ferentz. I've stopped getting worked up over his lame ass now that he's been here for what? 72 yrs now??
2, count 'em, two years into his reign of mediocrity I said that he needed to go the fuck away quickly--and instead he has a couple of good seasons and they sign him to a 10 yr, 30-something million dollar deal and he begins to shit all over himself.
Can't fire him now as his bloated contract is too much for Iowa to eat and I can't see any scenario where they offer him an extension--
which leaves you in the same boat you were at the end of Hayden Fry's tenure---some terrible teams and a hope that they pull the plug on the nightmare and start over as soon as possible....
ND looking good, Michigan pathetic.........just 1 competitive game today from Mich State, Michigan, or Ohio State:shrug:

Nothing personal, just been a pathetic day for the Big 10 capping guru..,....None of the teams played well today and the 3 big non conference games for the Big 10 have not been competitive, provided Ohio State does not come back
Capt Kirk can not get his kids fired up for ISU. ISU kids get very fired up for this game-its thier seson.
Hayden always got the Iowa kids fired up for this game and they dominated them.
If Iowa is a head at half they go in to thier conservative play calling mode. Nice call Kirk on the FG to call time out
