Exactly; Tenn tried to knock it down yesterday - right into Titus Young's hands.

Last year before halftime, Urlacher knocked it down - right into a KC receiver's hands.

Two years ago the Texans knocked it down - right into the hands of a Jaguar receiver.

I still agree that knocking it down is the right play, BUT treating it like a 100% foolproof option isn't exactly true.

"Foolproof" no.

But going for an Interception when you don't need it is selfish and more bad things can happen.

Not to mention intercepting a ball and costing your team 40 or 50 yards.

kick - how much is the bonus in Jennings contract for the interception he was going for? Such a selfish asshole. Packer fans shouldn't be upset at the refs, they should take their anger out on him. So greedy.

Packer fans and Seahawk fans and NFL fans should be pissed off.

The call at the end of the game was awful.

And so were about 100 other calls in that game.

but who should be upset at M.D. Jennings for being selfish and greedy and trying to intercept the ball?

Just trying to figure out where to funnel my anger since you seem to understand all aspects of this.

YYZ...I agree with you 99% of the time...but you are dead wrong on this...he was NOT in a position to "simply" knock it down....look at his body and where he was. He HAD to make a play on the ball and did the right thing and got the pick!!!!

The WR BLATANT pass interference on the play.....the guy got the pick.....it isn't a story YYZ because it was sooo wrong on many levels with refs and upstairs.....it is embarrassing!!

I do NOT blame GB DB in any way.....we can 100% agree to disagree on this...look at what happened in Lions game?? Make a play on the ball and win the game....they did and they lost?? WTF????

TRAVESTY!!!!!!

Guys...I will be checking in to see how you all are doing....but I will NOT wager on a game until regular refs are back due to principle. I never loved the refs in the first place...none of us have....but with what happened tonight...I will not wager my $ with these guys. This ref with #27 jersey will be CRUSHED and I am sorry...but good!!! He comes in and signals TD and honestly don't think he had any idea what he was doing...you consult with the other ref who had a better angle....view...and then the guys upstairs......at least those poor bastards don't have cameras on them "yet". Don't get me started on roughing the passer call when GB picked of Wilson and SEA got first down

If Commish had any balls...this game will be overturned!! I could care LESS OF MY BET....it is nothing to me.....the ITEGRITY OF GAME IS IN JEOPARDY!! Game we all love....if this happened to my Cowboys....wow!!! Guys...I worked many years at NFL films with Steve Sabol and crew in Mt Laurel...I am a FOOTBALL FAN....I love the game.....this just makes me sick!!

I sympathize with all Packers fans tonight and if this game hurts Packers chance of playoffs/home field play off game.....uuugghhh....this is just he beginning of a nightmare. Lets also be clear....plenty of terrible calls in NFL with regular refs.....PLENTY...COUNTLESS....but this was like a boiling point for me

Poon......read YYZ response in post 1

That should help ya out.

I did read, that is why I responded. He stated if the player knocks it down, it's not an issue. I said, if we had the regular refs its not an issue. You disagreed with me. You said it was the selfishness of the players, and that with real refs it wouldn't have mattered.

I think you need to re-read your posts.

I did not disagree with you at all.

The call was awful.

I stated that with "real refs" NFL players are and will be just as selfish.

That does not mean I thought the call was good.

No......I said "the same shit" would happen with "real refs". NFL players love to go for interceptions when they should just knock the ball down.

Kick - you are saying it would end in the same result.

I am saying with regular refs, it doesn't matter that he didn't knock it down, the call would have been done right. If not on the field, with the review.

I'm not sure what you don't comprehend.
