This is something that will be compared though out the years. Kobe doesnt seem to do well when he is double teamed. Jordan was always trippled teamed and double teamed. Jordan did deal with something more than what Kobe was dealing with off the court. His father getting killed and a divorce.

Yes Kobe is a good player and will probably only get better but right now he is no MJ.

Now when Kobe went to the hoop he did remind me of MJ but he has a ways to go before he is even in the same boat as MJ.

Kobe was much better than Jordan at age 25 or whatever he is. I'd probably take Mike at his peak over Kobe at his peak but Kobe has a lot of growing to do and I don't know if you follow the NBA before this year but Jordan is the one who had it easy. The NBA used to basically forbid double teams so Jordan had to beat one guy each time. Kobe has to beat 3 guys each time so it's tough to compare.

Also many a analyst has said the talent in the NBA now is more watered down then in the past which makes those accomplishments even stronger.
