I realize it wouldn't be Kobe's 1st choice, but..

I realize it wouldn't be Kobe's 1st choice, but..

What about Kobe to Milwaukee for Redd, Charlie Villanueva and a swap of 1st round picks (Milw's #6 for LA #whatever)?

It works salary wise - it would make sense for LA to replace Kobe with another all star guard who can score....

And it might even make sense for the Bucks, who are desparate for a player who could sell tickets.

Would Kobe be willing to come to Mllwaukee? I doubt it, but I'd like to see it...

we have a lot of big girls.... hence, a lot of alcohol consumption (they look prettier that way)...

They will usually take it any way they can get it... even "Kobe-way"

Kobe to Philly

For Dalembert, Andre Miller, and Iguodala

]

That was the first trade i was gonna make up with Philly but i would never think they would move Miller. According to them Miller and his 5 points and eight assist a night are the greatest thing since Oscar Robertson. They are on his tip every night to con us into thinking Iverson was a bad player. In Philly Miller has Lebron James type of hype. Thank goodness they got rid of one of the announcers. I guess this means Mush Parker comes here. His two points and 1 assist a night along with five turnovers and eight bricks.

" demanded a trade", I wish someone would put these kuntz in their place. Give that punk a rifle and send him to Iraq, pussy thinks he has it so hard. Paul Pierce has been mumbling under his breath about being traded, he knows better than to start yapping to loud, unlike Los Angeles, Boston will put him in his place. Send Bryant to Boston for Pierce #5 pick, and someone else. Fans around here will straighten his ass out.

hes going to chicago, possibly outside shot at philly and doubtful but real long shot new york.

i could definitely see Buss eating his fortune to make him sit out a year as well if it gets real ugly. they don't have to trade him. sit him on the bench and see how he reacts.

la won't trade for boston, or new jerseys rejects, and they certainly won't trade in their division to a team like sacramento. its gonna have to be a team out east and chicago, philly and new york make the most sense.

Buss issued a statement saying:

"We are aware of the media reports. However, Kobe has not told us directly that he wants to be traded. We have made it very clear that we are building our team around Kobe and that we intend for him to be a Laker his entire career. We will speak directly to Kobe and until we do that, we will not comment publicly about this."

Ok salary wise it works and if I was either team I would do it.

Kobe for Amare and Barbosa. The salaries would be about 600k off this coming year which is within the acceptable range.

i wouldn't do that if i was the Lakers simply because of Amare knee. That knee goes and that town goes to the lottery for the first time in a long time.

Lakers owner arrested on suspicion of DUI

May 29, 2007

CARLSBAD, Calif. (AP) -- Los Angeles Lakers owner Jerry Buss was arrested early Tuesday for investigation of driving under the influence of alcohol.

The 74-year-old Buss was taken into custody shortly before 1 a.m. after he drove his gold Mercedes-Benz station wagon the wrong way on a street in an unincorporated section of Carlsbad that has double yellow lines, California Highway Patrol Officer Tom Kerns said.

"Although I was driving only a short distance, it was a bad decision and I was wrong to do it," Buss said in a statement issued by the Lakers. "It was a mistake I will not make again."

A 23-year-old woman in the vehicle with Buss wasn't arrested, Kerns said.

He said Buss was "relatively cooperative" when placed under arrest, and was booked into the Vista jail for investigation of drunken driving and driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 or above.

Buss was released around 10:30 a.m., according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department Web site. Kerns said the final results of Buss' blood alcohol test won't be available for about three weeks.

Highway Patrol officers Sal Gutierrez and Julie Cahill administered field sobriety tests using an alcohol screening device, Kerns said.

Lakers spokesman John Black said Buss was in the Carlsbad vicinity because he has a home in north San Diego County. Buss' primary residence is in the Los Angeles suburb of Playa del Rey.
