I'm not a big "prop" player. They way Kobe is playing right now, I wouldn't surprise me to see him avg 40 pts per game for the remainder of the season. He is the 2006 version of "Showtime" all by himself and he LOVES it that way. I'm not saying he'll drop another 81 tonight, but after a nice long rest, a fresh and hungry Kobe will give the home crowd whiplash watching all of his shot attempts.

fyi, with the exception of a 5 game stretch around new years where he went 5 games in a row over 40, every other time he went over 38.5 points in a game, he followed it up with a game under that number.

11/3 39 points next game 38

12/12 43 points next game 27

hope you hit your bet, just adding a little objectivity. la papers applauded him, national papers ripped him for being a ball hog. wouldn't surprise me to see him try and go for 20 assists tonight or something. he's weird like that.

Late in the 3rd Q he had 5 pts on 11 shots. By the time the game ended he was at 25, then add ot and he got to 30. Hes really something. I'm not sure if he'll mention it.....but hes hurting. Low back and ankle. Might be worth a look, going against on props like these. But its tough betting against him.....hurt or not
