Tired of seeing raymond and tbonez in the 'last post by' spot in the two Vegas threads. Like they planned it or something. Peering down on the rest of the threads. [/QUOTE]

That's right! It's *my* time to shine now. Just like on Seinfeld when it was the 'Summer of George', this is the 'Autumn of Matt'. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

Tara,

I am trying to be nice about this but at some point I have to point out your horsecrap. I will NEVER go pay (insert your own joke about my crappy record here) and I think everyone knows this. I would argue that no poster at Madjacks has written more extensively about the potential pitfalls of pay services. I would be an incredible hypocrite if I ever sold my selections.

Your husband Raymond would never ask me to go pay in part because he knows that I would never do it. If he did ask, I would never go pay with him.

Here, I will do you a favor. Here is exactly what I wrote about your husband's service:

"Thunder and Raymond's service is the newest of the major Mad Jack's defectors. Early on, there have been troubling signs. There was the well publicized hubbub about unsolicited emails promoting their service. They also have no monitoring of their plays. As for the handicappers, Steel City is beyond reproach. He has posted an honest record publicly for quite some time. Nobody can ever predict how one's results will translate when starting a service, but Steel City has meticulous documentation, which is a great sign.

Roger is something of an enigma. He has posted strong results, especially on NBA totals, for quite some time at Madjacks, but he has posted spectacularly poor results at Bestbettor. Thunder has always seemed to be a good handicapper. His money management system was tough to accurately track, but seemed on the up and up. The problem, of course, has been his refusal to post a public record for his handicappers and his decision to use unsolicited mass marketing emails.

Raymond is a unique story. Certainly he has a following. He also has two failed service attempts in his wake and he is on his third service in a year and a half. His plays have always been hard to track because he hadn't posted consistent unit values until recently. When Raymond and I have spoken he has always been a grounded individual, so I am hoping that he harnesses those periods of success he's had and extrapolates that long term. Perhaps moving to a new money management system will stimulate that.

As far as the Ray and Thunder's service as a whole goes, it is a tough nut to crack. The positive is that the service is extremely low priced. The negative is that if you take all four people's plays, you are going to risk a rediculous percentage of your bankroll each day and there is no posted record to use to judge the service's quality."

Please let me know if there are any statements in that assessment of your husband's service that are inaccurate. I will gladly correct them and post a full retraction.

***

One last final note unrelated to the talk about your husband's service. I am very disappointed that you would support what beantownjim wrote about Chioma & me. You met us in Las Vegas, you were friendly with us and we even had dinner with your husband and kcwolf at the Sunset Station buffet. Now, after I post some true, but uncomplimentary, statements about your husband's service, you endorse a post that makes personal attacks at Chioma & me. I really never expected you to do something like that.

Chioma and yourself were very nice people and my attempt to address couldn't have been made at a worse time ,once again I am sorry!!!!!!!!!! first of all how do you figure that he has had two failed service attempts????

let me clarify for you ................. The 1st service was with a well known memeber around here everyone knows I will leave names out . I think if you ask him you will find that this was a case of 2 good friends going seperate ways.................go ahead ask!!!!!!!! The second cituation was meerly a business dicision that would generate a successful choice of cappers........... Now how you view that as 2 failed attempts is beyond me.......so if my feathers got more than ruffled I would say it was with good reason wouldn't you????????? So maybe now you need to apologize to Raymond and I for your incorrect assumptions!!!!!!!!!

With all due respect , I am once again sorry for the tastelesss thread that I chose to approach you in SERIOUSLY!!!!

Tara,

No problem for me, really. I don't hold grudges.

I have to respectfully disagree with your comments about Raymond's time at Gambler's Data and then his attempt at starting up Raymond's Outlaw Sports. I really would rather not get into a "he said, she said" in a public forum so I won't debate the minutae of delineating between "failures" and "business decisions". I do stand by what I wrote and I believe that even you would agree that we both understand the circumstances about Raymond's exit from both services. In my opinon there is no real need to belabor the argument because of that.
