Went 7-3 LY in my Top 10. Going to change it up
a tad this year, no top ten, no honorable mention,
no totals, JUST WINNERS :Yep:

I will start out with my favorite conference. SEC.
Although I bleed Big 12, SEC is the best top to
bottom and the easiest to cap.

Got my Phil Steele's 2008 CF Preview
Got my Lindy's CF 2008 Preview
Got my Athlon Sports CF

Gitten my Shit Straight :mj07: :142smilie

Here are the games I've circled, no decisions yet,
and when I make them, plenty of reasons why.

Florida. Beware of the Gators. Although they have
a tough schedule, it is spaced perfectly. No games
for or against Fla.

Ole Miss. Wouldn't touch this team with a ten foot
pole.

Hogs. Came up three times as a possible pick, but
I know this team all to well. They will struggle to
win 4 games and I may pick against them in one
game this year and it will surprise you which game.

Miss. State. Also came up three times. May take
them at home twice.

Here goes:

VANDY:
Oct. 4 AUBURN
Oct. 11 AT MISS ST *
Oct. 18 AT GEORGIA

Nov. 8 FLORIDA
Nov. 15 AT KENTUCKY *
Nov. 22 TENNESSEE

LSU:
Oct. 11 AT FLORIDA
Oct. 18 AT SOUTH CAROLINA *
Oct. 25 GEORGIA
Nov. 1 TULANE *
Nov. 8 ALABAMA

MISS STATE:
Sept. 13 AUBURN
Sept. 20 AT GEORGIA TECH *
Sept. 27 AT LSU

GEORGIA:
Sept. 13 AT SOUTH CAROLINA
Sept. 20 AT ARIZONA STATE *
Sept. 27 ALABAMA

Oct. 11 TENNESSEE
Oct. 18 VANDY (HC)
Oct. 25 AT LSU
Nov. 1 FLORIDA
Nov. 8 AT KENTUCKY *
Nov. 15 AT AUBURN

:scared

SOUTH CAROLINA:
Nov. 1 TENNESSEE
Nov. 8 ARKANSAS *
Nov. 15 AT FLORIDA

TENNESSEE:
Sept. 20 FLORIDA
Sept. 27 AT AUBURN
Oct. 4 NORTHERN ILLINIOIS *
Oct.11 AT GEORGIA
Oct. 18 MISS STATE *
Oct. 25 ALABAMA

Look at that schedule :scared

KENTUCKY:
Oct. 25 AT FLORIDA
Nov. 1 AT MISS STATE *
Nov. 8 GEORGIA

These are games I am looking at. When I make a
choice, I will give more reasoning.

Thoughts

Forgot to mention,

* means the lean

also forgot my Arkansas fade

ARKANSAS:
Oct. 4 FLORIDA
Oct. 11 AT AUBURN
Oct. 18 AT KENTUCKY
Oct. 25 MISSISSIPPI
Nov. 1 TULSA (HC) ***
Nov. 8 AT SOUTH CAROLINA

I will have plenty of ammo if I pull the trigger on
this game.

Scott, fully aware of the Gators problems, I think
you may see my reasoning as the season unfolds.

hey kramer...

thanks for posting this stuff...

think georgia is a very loaded team.....but think they will have to be careful with az. st...so i may agree with you depending on the points....

as far as vandy is concerned...they are usually always at the bottom of the standings & i think every sec game for them will have the same emotional level...so i don't think a sandwhich situation applies to them...

may agree with you on gt being a possible win over miss. st....& am not so sure about the other games that you listed...

btw...really like lindy's magazine...

keep up the good work...

Thanks for posting Kramer. I am going to the LSU @ SC game. Not a favorable spot for the Tigers, especially with a r/s frosh at QB:scared You know I'll be on the small home doggie in this one.

BTW, I like Florida to win the east. Too much UGA talk for me, especially given the question marks at OL. Fla clearly has the easier road.

kramer...

here is something that you might want to look into...

az. st. is playing the pre-season top 2 teams in a few magazine's polls....georgia 9/20....& at usc 10/11....

in between they play at calif.10/4....

besides being a sandwhich game for az. st, they may take the bears lightly since they beat them last year 31-20....

with the right price, the home team may look to be a good play...

All good stuff, I have made a living off double diget dogs in the SEC for the last 5 years. Like you said the SEC is better than anyone else and from top to bottom there is little difference every week. to get double digets is a gem....:SIB

Good luck.

Al and Cie, looking forward to your imput this year,
you guys are awesome.

Bobby, I'm a big Nutt fan, Arkansas will regret
running him off. He will turn Ole Miss around, just
don't think this year. Looking forward to your Big
10 imput this year.

My first pick of the season comes on Nov. 1st.
Take Mississippi State vs. Kentucky.

Oct. 4 Kentucky AT Alabama
Oct. 11 Kentucky vs. South Carolina
Oct. 18 Kentucky vs. Arkansas (HC)
Oct. 25 Kentucky AT FLORIDA *
Nov. 1 Kentucky AT MISSISSIPPI STATE ***
Nov. 8 Kentucky vs. GEORGIA *

*The Wildcats have lost 21 in a row to the Gators.
***The Wildcats lost 6 TO's all in the 2H in LY's
31-14 upset loss to Miss. St. as the Bulldogs had
just a 352-319 yd edge while facing UK without
their top 2 RB's & top WR.
*LY UGA held UK to just 297 total yds, their
lowest output in '07, in a 24-13 win. UK has lost
10 of the last 11 in this series, but pulled an upset
the last meeting in Lexington, 24-20 in '06. Not
gonna happen TY.

Kentucky Coach: Rich Brooks
LY Record: (8-5)
Returning Starters:
Offense: 4
Defense: 8

Despite having what figures to be their best D yet
under Brooks, the offense loses QB Woodson, their
top RB, and 3 of their top 4 receivers and is in
rebuilding mode. (Phil Steele)

Oct. 25 Mississippi State vs. MIDDLE TENN. *
Nov. 1 Mississippi State *** vs. KENTUCKY
Nov. 8 OPEN

*Miss. State is 31-4-2 vs current SBC tms & 2-0
in this series with an avg win of 51-21.
***Miss. St. upset Kentucky LY that eliminated
them from the SEC East race.

Mississippi State Coach: Sylvester Croom
LY Record: (8-5)
Returning starters:
Offense: 6
Defense: 8

With 14 starters back, this year's team is more
talented than 2007's and have a great shot at
getting to a bowl. (Phil Steele).

:Yep: :Yep: :Yep:

My next pick is a mirror image of my Kentucky/LSU
pick LY. And Cie was quick to point it out.
Take South Carolina vs LSU on Oct. 18.

Oct. 11 LSU AT FLORIDA *
Oct. 18 LSU AT SOUTH CAROLINA ***
Oct. 25 LSU vs. GEORGIA *

*LSU has won 3 of the L/4 in this series, but over-
all have just 5 wins in the L/20. Last year the
Tigers trailed 17-7 at HT but outscored the Gators
14-0 in the 4Q.
***LSU is 15-2-1 all-time in this series & SC's last
win was in '94. LY LSU used a fake FG to score a
TD & had a 290-17 yd rush edge in their 28-16
win over SC. (LY LSU had Middle Tenn and Tulane
before and after the SC game at home :scared
*LSU leads the overall series 14-11-1 & the home
team has won 5 of 6 (reg ssn). They met in both
the '03 & '05 SEC Championship game & each won
one easily.

LSU Coach: Les Miles
LY Record: 12-2
Returning Starters:
Offense: 7
Defense: 5

Oct. 11 South Carolina AT Kentucky *
Oct. 18 SOUTH CAROLINA*** VS LSU
Oct. 25 OPEN

*SC DE Norwood tied an NCAA record with 2 FR
TD's in LY's 38-21 SC win. KY had a 384-342 yd
edge, but SC has a 4-1 TO edge & have now won
8 straight.
***SC was outrushed by a 290-17 yd margin in last
year's 28-16 loss.

South Carolina Coach: Steve Spurrier
LY Record: (6-6)
Returning Starters:
Offense: 7
Defense: 10

17 returning starters and one of the top D's in the
country, spells trouble for LSU sandwiched
between Florida and Georgia.

:Yep: :Yep: :Yep:

My next pick is not a true sandwich game, but it
might as well be. Take Auburn vs Georgia on Nov.
15.

Oct. 11 Georgia vs. Tennessee
Oct. 18 Georgia vs. Vandy (HC)
Oct. 25 Georgia AT LSU
Nov. 1 Georgia vs. FLORIDA
Nov. 8 Georgia AT Kentucky
Nov. 15 Georgia AT AUBURN ***

Are you fricken kidding me. I will bet good money
that at the end of this 6 game stretch Georgia is
spent. As a bonus, look at Auburn's schedule.

Nov. 8 Auburn vs Tenn-Martin (HC)
Nov. 15 Auburn vs Georgia
Nov. 22 OPEN

Georgia Coach: Mark Richt
LY Record: (11-2)
Returning Starters:
Offense: 8
Defense: 9

Auburn Coach: Tommy Tuberville
LY Record: (9-4)
Returning Starters:
Offense: 9
Defense: 7

:Yep: :Yep: :Yep:

you really honestly think the Auburn Pussys have a fat chance in that game.

Dogs run the table.

You bet your sweet ass I think Auburn can do it.
Dogs can't run that table. No team can. I'd give
my left nut to see how Ohio State or USC would
handle that brutal fricken schedule, and I didn't
even show you the rest of the schedule. Then
throw in the SEC Championship Game, then the
NC game, :scared :scared :scared

BUTT UGLY PICK :Yep:

You all know that BUTT UGLY + POINTS = $$$

:00hour

Take NORTHERN ILLINOIS AT TENNESSEE Oct. 4

Sept. 20 Tennessee vs. FLORIDA
Sept. 27 Tennessee AT AUBURN
Oct. 4 Tennessee vs. n. ill. ***
Oct. 11 Tennessee AT GEORGIA

:SIB

***Answer me this. Which team has this game
circled. The one with 10 offensive starters and
11 defensive starters back (Jerry Kill steps into a
tremendous situation. NI was -17 in TO's, had 3
net close losses, had poor offensive and defensive
ypp's last year and were one of the top teams in
the NCAA in starts lost. They also go from an
inexperienced team with just 3 senior starters to
a team with 21 starters returning with 20 seniors
having starting experience. NI makes my most
improved list which means I think they can get
from 2-10 record to bowl eligibility. (Phil Steele)

OR

the team that just played Florida, Auburn, and has
Georgia on deck. :scared

Remember gents, points will be a plenty :Yep:

This post to be continued, I'm shitfaced and am
tired of typing :00x5

OK, I'm back but getting shitfaced again :SIB
