these 2 teams are very even
season series now at 10-10
stlouis has won 5 in a row
considering this I'm liking
pitt. to bounce back today
looking at how they've
reacted to a blowout loss
theyve gone 5-4 as a dog in this
situation.
adding in cole has been a different
pitcher last 6 weeks. he seems to have
found his groove. main deference
i see is his k/9 increase. was very mediocre
in this area prior to 7/28 he was at 5.5 k/9
since 7/28 he is +9 in k/9.
i was scratching my head with this guy
he throws 95+ but wasnt striking anyone out?
now whatever hes found it is working big time.
add in thatstlouis hasnt seen cole yet, should be tough for them.
pitt. should have confidence vs. lynn
as theyve hit him pretty well last couple yrs.
so, looking for pitt. to even this series up
all year theyve stepped it up when they needed to do it.
