thanks guys

a couple other things.i was in a hurry earlier was heading to breakfast.

on rocky and you cant make this up. his last name is same as a very famous boxer.
also,he now at 70 he looks exactly like uncle june from the sopranos.
you picture the jail scenes from goodfellas and that would be pretty much how rocky spent his vacation.
eating good and rolling dice.
his dice systems are all about getting your money when the odds are in your favor. hit one bet and take your money down and then wait again and repeat.
theres different variations but basicaly he waits for a 4 or 10 to roll then plays the 5-6-8-9 and lays enough against the 4 or 10 whichever one was rolled so that if the 7 comes you still make a profit.
so you have 24 ways to win and 3 ways to lose.
and you can increase your odds to 24 to 2 if you play the hard 4 or 10 to cover your risk as well.
as soon as you hit 1 bet you take all money down.
its a good system but when they buck a 4 on you then you have to increase your lay to make work. it can get expensive if you happen to run into a few 4's or 10's in a row.but the key is grinding out a profit. the craps table is the ultimate greed kills lesson. the laast 2 yrs. ive played alot of craps. most of the time i can play for hours using rockys system or some variation. while im playing there i will see countless players come and go. losing thousands of dollars. its like a revolving door. mainly they lose from greed. because even when someone does happen to throw a decent hand, they are all pressing their bets with hope of winning big. they hardly ever pocket any money. then sure enough table will go cold and they are broke after a few 7 outs. its the same with sportsbetting, you have to pocket the money. to get you thru a cold stretch.

but there is a lesson in his system.....the main things i take from it are these and they should be applied to sportsbetting.
this system requires DISCIPLINE which is a key to winning at anything. he takes his bet down after he wins. he doesnt let it ride with foolish hopes of winning more money. he is content with winning that one bet and then he waits again.
so applied to sportsbetting, many will increasetheir bets after a win, play parlays or high risk bets with house money. you take house money and put it in your pocket.

next is getting your money in with the odds in your favor. thats key. i know when i play a game based on all angles/system i use that the odds are in my favor. sure not every play will win but if i am willing to wait for those specific situations only then i know i will come out a head.
just like a the best poker players, way more often than not, they get their money in with the percentages in their favor. sure if you watch poker on tv every once in ahile they suffer a bad beat but in the long run they win.

look no one wants to be preached to....ive got plenty of friends.....they sportsbet every day ....they all say who you like today? ive come to realize that no matter how many winners i give them its not enough. i could go 4-1 and talk to them the next day and they will be like....well i lost a little but almost won a ton if i wouldve hit that 3 team parlay...or yeah i hit your games but kinda lost on my own 15 other plays....my buddies all bet way way way to many games on a weekend most of them have just about every side and total in action...
its action thats what they crave...if its on tv im betting the game. i think my small group of friends is prettty much what its like everywhere. thats why sportsbooks never lose. for every 1 of a rocky type player, theres 1,000 that are pissing their money.
the casinos and sportsbooks dont care about the few that actualy win. theres plenty greedy action junkies out there to line their pockets with.
ive learned as now that im almost 50, that i want to get my money in with odds in my favor and that i dont need to bet everyday. if theres not a strong enuff play today then i pass and i wait.

like i said i dont bother talking to my friends about this because i know its not worth the time or efort.
but maybe if one of you guys here gets what im saying then i did some good for someone.im not trying to sound like im better than anybody or that im the best handicapper ever. i know im not. im just trying to pass along some things ive learned over the years. hope it helps keep things in perspective.

have a winning day mj crew
