BANGKOK ? Actor David Carradine, star of the 1970s TV series "Kung Fu" who also had a wide-ranging career in the movies, has been found dead in the Thai capital, Bangkok. A news report said he was found hanged in his hotel room and was believed to have committed suicide

everybody liked kwai chang caine....and his father was one of the great old actors(talk about great voices)...

maybe he had a terminal illness and couldn`t face the tough road ahead?...who knows...

very disturbing...a very cool dude...a pop culture icon to several different generations...didn`t think of him as being in his 70`s...he always seemed cutting edge...

kinds ruins your day hearing about this...

carridine was very cool in the film,"circle of iron"(originally called "silent flute").....about a blind "master" and a "seeker"...lots of mystical mumbo-jumbo and some nifty dialogue....

a classic line from the movie....

carridine and his protege escape on foot from the bad guys chasing on horseback...

seeker: "i never thought you'd run from a fight!"..

blind man: "it's hard to kill a horse with a flute."

lot of guys in here are too young to remember kung-fu....basically,it went the same way every week...chang walks into town...gets beaten up by the bad guys....gets nursed back to health by the good/oppressed guys....bad guys come back to beat up good guys... chang kicks bad guys` asses......

for young dudes without cable,it was extremely cool....
