I guess there is something to say about how great Michael Jordan was and how overatted Phil Jackson is. Phil wasn't building things in Chicago. He just coached and had the best player in the world. As for Smoosh Parker? Just a terrible point guard.

hey the guy got what he wanted; 30 shots a game. i ain't buying all the bryant love that's everywhere now. he'd rather put up 50 than win a game. what a collection of talent. can't wait till they get bumped out of the playoffs. it will kill bryant he can't get a bunch of points in a playoff run. he's an awesome talent but i hope he falls on his face.

kobe single handedly ran shaq out of l.a., if that doesn't show that he wanted to shoot and score more instead of win, i don't know what does...any team with shaq has a better chance of winning

not to start anything b/c I have never been a Kobe fan, but using my own formula, his pts. per shot att. has been very respectful this year, app. 1.38 ... altho last game 29 pts on 33 shots is quite poor obviously ...

i also find it amusing board's all time annoying poster guaranteed the Lakers would be a power this year etc ... Personally, I wouldnt want to play with Kobe, tho for a while it seemed he was content not gunning so much and the team reeled off some wins early on, but also interesting the times his scoring has skyrocketed, the lakers have an excellent winning %

so, all in all kinda a weird year for Kobe in some aspects ...
