La. Tech is favored by several td's over North Texas.No problemo today.This has the potential to be a blowout. NT is terrible.They beat FIU one of the worst teams in the Sun Belt 13-10.NT had 8 turnovers and was yellow flagged 15 times.A couple of weeks vs Tulsa they had 15 penalties.And many are dumb ones like hitting after the whistle,personal fouls ,etc.
NT's OL cannot open up holes.They have the 2 defending rushing champions on there team but they cannot go anywhere because everyone has 7 or 8 guys in the box.There Qb Meager cannot throw.With no passing attack there is no offense.They rank at the bottom of almost every catogory that says offense. They are last in the nation in scoring off avg 9 pts a game.There punt returners are still in negative yds[last in the nation].Why not fair catch everything and you'll avg 0.
There defense is so bad also.Their 109th in giving up rushing yds.DL and secondary are basically all new.LB's are solid.
La Tech has the wide open offense that spreads everyone out.They played bad at nevada last week but they are capable of putting some pts on the bd.They beat Hawaii 46-16 a few weeks ago at home. Qb Kubick will have all the time in the world in the pocket picking apart NT's defense.La Tech defense can shutout NT.They blitz and attack.La has 10 different players that has at least one sack.So they will swarm from all over at the not so "mean green".
Imagine NT having 15 penalties and 8 turnovers and you still beat a weak FIU.Against good teams you get blown away like the Tulsa lost at home 54-2.
