Mets racked him before in a short stint,
he's already 5/7 balls.

I was wondering the same thing. This will make twice this week that he has come in and lost. Why would the Dodgers trade for someone like him. We all know he f****** sucks.

I agree Raz. We are down a run now. Need a couple of run. Freaking Seahawks give the ball away and I am going to lose my teaser so I really need LA to get there act together.

The Trombley trade is kind of like the Weathers trade with the Cubbies. They're SUPPOSEDLY good arms having good years number-wise, but we all know numbers aren't everything. They're supposed to give 1, or 2 innings of relief every few nites, and give the big guns some rest. Instead, they might end up pitching either teams' playoff hopes away. I sure hope not, though.

I've got my cap on inside out, upside down. Need a rally here.

Better luck tomorrow fellas. I lost some nice change on this game, as well. Can't expect to win every nite, right?

I live near LA and all we hear about in this area is what a great acquisition Trombley was for the Dodgers. What a joke - some loser with an era over 7. I know the Dodgers staff is not too deep. Orosco is having problems and may have been in tonite saving us from another Trombley meltdown. But, please - how many more can they afford to blow with this guy?

I agree DDUBS just hate losing on poor
judgement, burns me more than anything.
Why leave a guy in who is struggling or
has poor % in certain situations. Earlier in the week posted the same question, almost identical situation tie games etc. and in both instances it cost them as it did
tonight, 3-0.

I didnt think the Dodgers could find anyone worse than Herges but they did. How many games are they going to let Trombley lose before they realize that he f*cking sucks.

that is the reason why balt 52-70 got rid of Trombley.

He is horrible. He was the worst on Balt pitching staff and it shows. I would take Rod "I cant save a game" Beck over this guy.

As BlackCloud mentioned, you'd think that LA traded for SCHILLING & JOHNSON when they picked up MULLHOLLAND AND TROMBLEY. The LA BP was terrible earlier this year, giving up big leads, then it finally settles, mainly due to ADAMS, who's now starting and FETTERS, so.... what do they do??? TRADE FETTERS and get these two losers!! I couldn't believe it. AND THEN, to have to hear on the SPORTS TALK about how smart LA is for going out and getting "HELP"!! HELP for who, the opposition's BATTING AVERAGE??

I hate betting on LA for this very reason... did it twice this week, and TROMBLEY blew em both!

The Dodgers desperately need some stability in their BP. Adams and Herges were awesome earlier in the season, but since Adams was forced to go in the starting rotation due to injuries, Herges' been the work horse and the heavy work load is starting to take a toll on him. This does not look good for the Dodgers. I hope Jim Tracy has more tricks in his bag, because they're starting to slide big time.
