Notre Dame+1 over UConn *****
This is the 4th time going against each other..Lyr ND knocked out UConn in the semi's...ND beat Conn twice in the reg. season and then uConn beat them in the BE tourney....no surprises today...ND is the better team....they do everything better then Uconn except play D.. But ND plays solid D also...Diggins controls the team...she can pass,shoot,penetrate,etc..her teammates around her can pass and shoot..this is one of the best passing teams in the country...just when you think you stopped ND on defense they pass outside and ..boom...a 3 pt shot...Love Gino but the Irish are to strong leading the nation in scoring...Gino has a young team...maybe next yr...

Stanford +7 over Baylor **
Hate going against BU because after they were upset lyr by AM they are on a mission...everyone thought lyr they were going to win...it all...With Griner in the middle she is the aircraft carrier...a dominate force on both ends...Sims the pt gd is outstanding.. they have been No 1 from preseason to season to post season. They beat UConn and ND already this season...
Cards only lost 1 game all yr to UConn....the Ogwumike's sisters are solid..esp. Nnemkadi...Cards need to play their A+ game to keep it close...what I hate about some of the womans games is when its close at the end with 2 or 3 minutes left with a 3 or 4 pt lead or a 8 or 9 pt lead the leading team gets fouled and a close game become a double digit win....one of the few reasons the favorites cover so much...these ladies hit their FT's....but will make a small play on the Cards...

Notre Dame is the play...GL

ND has been lights out this tourney, but UCONN will not allow them to shoot as well as they have all tourney (48%).

In fact ND has failed to reach 40% in any of the games against UCONN this season. They eked out a victory in OT at home in which UCONN turned the ball over 27 times. UCONN has consistently turned the ball over more often and that has proved to be the difference. This is a team that leads the nation in field-goal percentage defense at 29.9% while holding the opposition to an average of 46.1 points per game.

Give me Geno. He finds a way to motivate these girls...
