I'm told that there are casinos in Lafayette. Anyone been there and if so, where would you recommend? Thanks

There are no casinos in Lafayette.

Here is where they are at:

Charenton Casino-40 mins south of Lafayette

Coushatta Casino-1 hr northwest of Lafayette

Baton Rouge Casinos-1 hr east of Lafayette just over the Miss Bridge.

New Orleans Casino-2 hrs east of Lafayette

Lake Charles Casino-1 1/2 hr west of Lafayette

Marksville Casino-1 hr north of Lafayette

Hope this helps. If you need directions i can help as much as possible.

As far as recommending what are you looking for? Ive been to Coushatta and its very nice. they have the poker there too.

The casino in Charenton is the Cypress Bayou casino. It is great casino and has a steakhouse named Mr. lester's that is excellent as well. I have been to that casino 10 times and it has been great everytime.
