The Lakers struggles on the road this season are blinding. More specifically, their inability to cover spreads as road favorites of -5 or less.
So far this season the Lakers have been road favorites of -5 or less eleven times. Unfortunately it hasn't been a pretty sight as L.A. has gone a horrid 1-9-1 ATS in those games.
But how about the Lakers as underdogs!? I'm sure we all know that the only time L.A. is going to be an underdog, it's going to be on the road. So far this year they've been road dogs in seven games. They are 2-5 ATS. Interestingly though, in the games that they were +5 or less, those are the ones they've failed to cover. 0-5 ATS.
So basically in a nut-shell, the Lakers have been pretty damn awful ATS on the road this year in these circumstances.
Lakers as road favorites of -5 or less
1-9-1 ATS
Lakers as road dogs of +5 or less
0-5 ATS
Total Record
1-14-1 ATS
