LAKERS/SPURS Under 176.5 - The Lakers are now just counting the days until Shaq comes back to revive a sagging offense. Earlier this month, they scored a Los Angeles franchise record low of 70 points in a game at Cleveland, and they came very close to breaking this record last night in a 98-72 loss to a Dallas team not renowned for their defense! If those two teams could keep LA in the 70s, how will they be able to muster anything vs. a San Antonio defense that is currently ranked 4th in the NBA, allowing only 78.6 points per game at home! The Spurs haven?t exactly been scorching the net at home either, averaging a pedestrian 91.0 points, with the Under going 4-1 in all their home games. These two clubs only combined for 169 points in San Antonio?s 87-82 victory at Los Angeles on Opening Night, and I expect an even lower scoring game in this building, where the Spurs? defense has been much more intense.
