Always like to get in on some NBA playoff action.

Been watching the game's thus far, and my feeling is that the Lakers are going to the Finals.

And if that is the case they need to take care of their business on the away court.

Gasol cant stay in his funk forever.

Looking for alot of team play and keep Kobe guarding that little prick Paul.

Lay back, wait, watch, learn, and then.....

Correct me if I am wrong. Didn't you use to only post dog plays ? Now all I ever see you post is chalk and buying points ? What made you change your betting style ?

1. Get on the right side

2. Reduce your risk

3. Don't be a homer

4. Reduce the plays you make.

5. Reduce or do not play the college football games Mon-Fri. These games are for action.

6. When you lose, don't chase late plays.

7. Do not handcuff yourself with one type of wager. Be versatile.

8. No woman, No children

9. Cash the ticket.

NBA PLAYOFFS ..... 1-0 .... + $ 500.00

Gasol stunned them all by draining the shot, then scored twice more during a key fourth-quarter surge that helped secure a 100-86 victory Friday night and put Los Angeles in control of the first-round playoff series.

Lakers star Pau Gasol rediscovered his missing game just in time, breaking out of his slump to put the game away late, Dave McMenamin writes. Story

Kobe Bryant, who led the Lakers with 30 points.
:00hour

The win gave the Lakers a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series, with Game 4 in New Orleans on Sunday. Just as important, the performance re-established Gasol as one of the Lakers' primary scoring threats following two poor outings. He finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds.:toast:

Lakers coach Phil Jackson figured Gasol was bound to start playing better.

He is just too good a basketball player. He can shoot, he can handle the ball, he can do a lot of things. It's just a matter of him finding a comfort zone out there," Jackson said. "I didn't expect him to find it out on the 3-point line, but we are not surprised when he makes those shots."
On Friday he showed up to the tune of 17 points and 10 rebounds, with 13 points coming in the second half.

They just had a collective effort tonight," Paul said of the Lakers. "Everybody pitched in and that's what we really can't let them do. ... We fought. We played a great first half. It's just, in the second half it got away from us.":0008

Bryant's intensity was evident from the opening minutes when he violently rejected Carl Landry's attempted close-range shot out of bounds. Soon after, he cut into the lane for a vicious one-handed jam.:scared

Hornets fans' attempts at booing or heckling him only seemed to help him focus. Hitting on his typical array of demoralizing 3s and off-balance jumpers off the glass, he had 15 points in the first half. He didn't need to take the game over in the second because of Gasol's emergence, which the Lakers thought was overdue after he averaged only eight points, about 11 below his average, during the first two games of the series.

It was Bryant's 80th playoff game with at least 30 points, second on the all-time list behind Michael Jordan's 109.

..............................................................

Lets just face it.

Lakers move on

going forward......

Here is one angle I always look for in the NBA playoffs.

Teams that are down 3-0

Miami Heat - Phil 76s -

Celtics - NY Knicks -

Chicago Bulls - Indiana -

Its what I call the sympathy game.

The NBA doesnt like for any team to be embaressed at home and go out 4-0
like chumps.

It ain't good for business.

The NBA is all about good business principals.

Of course sometimes it dont matter and the stronger team will just kick their ass again.

But so many times at a away game in this situation
the better team takes a breather.

The problem is figuring out which team it will be that will step up.

Its amazing what a die hard fan that Spike Lee is for the NY team.

He has got to be the biggest homer in the history of sports.

Is the writing on the wall ?

Spike would pay good money for NY to win just one game at home from the hated Boston Celtics.

I am not talking about taking any points.

I am talking about moneyline winners.

Our first chance is Saturday....

Indiana + 175

Second chance is Sunday.....

Philly + 225

Usually the bigger the moneyline the better odds
for the win.

Could the phone call already be made. Are the refs involved. Could the coachs be told to lay low in the next game and coast ?

Where is Sponge when I need him most. Oh I forgot he don't post until after the games are played.
