Heard from a couple of friends who go to UT that Kiffin may be going to USC. Anybody heard anything about this?

As a UT fan, all I can say is that I am not surprised and that he should have never been hired here in the first place. We should have gotten Brian Kelly when we had the chance, but they bought into the whole coaching staff.

If he would have stayed here a year or two more, our football team would be under major sanctions by the NCAA.

I honestly think the joke will be on USC because they just hired a guy that is unproven

PAC 10 is going to be a lot easier than SEC. He can't handle the coaching pressures of the SEC also. I don't blame him.

how can a coach break a contract after being there only one year? Didnt he sign a 4 or 5 yr contract with UT? How can he get out of that after one year?

Oh please... if he had gone 2-11 this year, he would have been fired in a heartbeat.

don't think he would have been fired for going 2-11 after 1 year....coaches make commitments to recruits & promise them all kinds of things, staying at a job is probably one of them....just think that coahes, institutions, tenants, landlords & whoever else signs some kind of contract should honor them....but i guess you think contracts don't mean anything....
