Laptop help !

My daughter's some how got the cursor stuck in the middle of the screen and it won't move.

We do not have a mouse just the touch pad and it does nothing.

anybody have any answers :shrug:

do you have a button right near the touchpad that turns it on and off? if it was a young child, that is about the only way they could have accidently turned off the touchpad.

use ctrl-alt-delete to bring up the screen that allows u to shut down the computer...tab til u get to the "shut down" option, hit enter....reboot

turn off the computer and re-start

after further review I'm reformatting that will give her something to do for the next week trying to find all that crap again :mj07:
it has my issues than I can deal with :scared

if you have a USB mouse around, that is the easy way to get into mouse properties to turn the touchpad back on... there is a way to do it without one, but it's much easier to run it in to the geek squad at best buy
