Just got the 2nd generation Nexus 7"... love it! Cheap, small, and lots of apps available. I really like the size... the 10" is too big and my fone is too small. I use this in conjunction with a big home desktop setup.

Yeah but, if you notice, tablets are slowly turning into laptops.

So I think that both laptops and tablets will be obsolete with a hybrid of the two becoming the norm.

There's a number of hybrids out there already. We're seeing laptops with a touch screen and the ability to pop off the base of the laptop to be more mobile and operate as a tablet.

Tablets are good for a number of things, but even tablets have extreme limitations on what they can't do. Great tools for social consumption and media in the home but they lack of lot of the processing power for creating and manipulating data.
