I really love the Palms bets using positions rather than money. Of course, this is mostly if you bet the favorites. If you like a dog to win outright, than the money line is better.

I am going to bet against Sterling Marlin this week. He is bringing a totally new car to the track and did not bring the proven one. It is supposed to be like the other, BUT ??????????
You should be able to get good odds against him. If you can get high plus money, take it.

For the Palms bets, I really like Mark Martin against Elliott Sadler.
Less than 12 positions is a bargain.

Another bet I like is Ward Burton against Sterling Marlin as I described above. But as a dog, I would rather get plus money.

Race Fans,

This will be a good race, I was blown away that 7 Fords are in the top ten. Since I am a Gordon fan I have to put some money on him to win @ 5-1. Now that I have some time to do some homework (the wife left with the kid) I will be back with my plays for this week.

I like most of your picks.

As i said to anyone who can bet in Vegas (I dont think any online book has the matchups with position), I really like Mark Martin -6.5 (-110) vs Elliott Sadler.

I am probably going to bet Martin to win the race. he opened at 18-1 but is now around 12-1.

The local weather here in Vegas for tomorrow should be around 60, low wind, low humidity, and sunny skies. it should be a perfect day for the fans and the racers.

Well by just hanging out another week. We find the Dodge boys have come to play for sure. WE have now had action at big track smaller one, and the now populer 1.5 mile. We now start to see how they run on all sizes. For sure the front end change made for Dodge last year at end of season has carried over. The Fords with there total reduction of 3/8 on there spolers. Have stopped complaing. That should tell us something. The Chev owners will start to want relief soon if they continue to struggle. Atlanta is next and a very fast track it is. The Chevs always ran well here. If they don't hold there own the chit will start to fly. Match ups starting this week could show the cream is ready. We have had some cream but many odd ball things have happen to.

Team Jack,

I just didn't feel it last week so I just made the one play I posted, my OS book really didn't have any matchups that I liked, plus those fords spooked me, was Marlin flyin or what? I don't think there was anyone that could catch him, he is going to be a tough competitor this year. It looks like some of you did well.:D

This showed that Sterling Martin has 2 great new cars this year.

I did good just picking one matchup a week and going with it. I especially like the Palms positional matchup. luck has been with me 3 times so far this year.
