Between Green Bay and Iowa City
2004 Bowls YTD: 1-0 (+1.50*)

UCLA(-11') over Wyoming (1.50*)
- - When last on view, an underrated UCLA team off a three week rest stood up to the Super-Men of Troy with a genuine conviction that they could shock the world as the better team that day, and despite some anemic production by their offense, they were nearly up to the task. IMO, Wyoming is outclassed across the board in this matchup. The Bruins ineptitude in last year's Silicon Valley Bowl is the final piece of the puzzle . . . Over the year's, my strongest Bowl angle has been identifying and taking a superior and/or overlooked team with coaches and players plainly aware that the difference between winning and losing their Bowl game is nothing less than the difference between remembering a season of failure or experiencing a season of immense promise.

Wait over for Wyoming (Wyoming Tribune Eagle - 12/23/04)

Always enjoy your take on the games. Wasn't sure if I'd respond here or your other bowl thread (which I also liked). Like the Bruins here as well, just always get screwed by Wyoming. Played 'em in a tease instead. GL on this one and Purdue. Gonna be opposite of your Oklahoma play though. Looking forward to your info on the Boilermaker game. Let's go UCLA!! :)

(and congrats on your winner last night)
