I would take you with me Thunder but I am too anal about who the other 3 would be.

with my luck someone would stick 3pt arrow on the team and there goes my money quickly down the toilet.

I dont like relying on others to win that big a cash payout.

I may consider playing the contest myself at some point.

Of course with the pool that is in it the chances of winning are miniscule.

I dont understand the proxy stuff and the distribution on a payout would be a nightmare.

I've been a proxy the last 2 yrs...Between 9 Jul & 8 Sep you must make a trip to the Hilton to sign up in person so it is solely in your name...You ca then appoint anyone to a proxy to make your pix for the next 17 weeks...Pays top-20...Last year record amount of entries with a $310,000 1st prize...

I charge $250 for making 17 wks of pix & 5% of any winnings...When the contest is officially over you will not have to make a return visit to Vegas to collect winnings as they will mail you your check...

This is for anyone who is not a part of the MJ team and would like to enter Hilton contest separately...

The proxy submits your picks for you. Picks can only be submitted in person. No email, text, fax or phone. You give the proxy permission to act as your agent and he then submits your picks by the cut off date and time each week for 17 weeks.

Very important here!

You actually have to pick games against the spread in this contest. You can't buy 5 or 6 points, and lay an extra $1,500.

(That may change your thinking about playing)

When I wager, I use what they allow me to use.

I know that is a foreign concept to someone like you that don't gamble.

I believe I could win this contest .

How about you coin flipper.

I believe I could flip a coin, and have as good a chance as you in winning that thing. But we will never know. Neither of us is getting in it.

Why don't we all send Jack $500 or so and have a Madjacks Hilton contest??

I would do the Hilton solo, but I don't really trust the whole proxy thing.

Jack can't hold the money,

but we could get bookmaker or1Vice (2 trusted books) to probably.

entry fee would be $500

plus you would get a bonus on your money of some sort which could be worked out with bookmaker or 1Vice.

prizes would be a percentage breakdown depending how many entered.

Oh yeah, I always forget those silly, made up arbitrary things we like to call "laws" that are created by the moral police. But of course, it's only morally deficient if it is done by private individuals, not if done by a state run operation. Silly me. I digress.

Count me in if this happens.

BTW, I have many ideas like this that books should be doing online that could generate more users/interests/money.

I've been in the Hilton 3 times. The proxy's are legit. They just submit picks for you. You are entered under your name, address and ss#. If you win the check is submitted to you not the proxy.

I would def do this also Jord , great idea. What happens when proxy forgets to put picks in thats what I would be worried about!!

Yeh or the proxy gets really sick or has family issues come up and misses putting in plays.

The proxy is a weak link

I've been in it 3 times and around it for 8 years, never heard of this happening. This is the proxy's livelihood, a bad reputation would put them out of business. There are many Proxy's in Vegas.

There could be as many as 600 to 700 enrolled in the Hilton contest this season. So you really think you could win it huh......you'll need to pick at least 60% to do that....:SIB

Does not happen- but there are oodles of runners that -are companies more than 1 guy
