I'm going to be in Las Vegas from March 9-12th. Any tips on having a good time. I'm staying at the Sahara.

yes stay away from the S at night bad part of town and with in walking distance for you. at night walk left on lvb and you will be just fine.

What's the skinny on the Palms? I'm staying there April 3-6 and curious about the place as well as how far of a cab ride or shuttle is it to the strip?

Senor and fletcher - I have never been to Vegas but one of my friends is booking a trip for the two of us in May. For some reason I think he mentioned the Stratosphere. What is the deal with this place??? Bad part of town or a real dump? Any info or help would be appreciated.

palms is great just away from things more fun to do their clubs but you will need a car or cab to go anywhere.
and the strat in nice but you are right at the start of crack central. would not walk out at night.

fletcher - sorry to bring it up again but these are the three choices my friend was looking at for our trip. They seemed to be his top three choices in terms of location, price and where they were located on the strip... Any thoughts? Again, your help and input is much appreciated.

no problem i would go with either the bc or boardwalk the bw is older but fun and across fro aladdin ,and right beside walking mgm,nyny, monte c and treasure island to the left i like that part bc is by ballays and flamingo, paris so either one you are on the strip at a great price.
