I fly out Sat. morning for Vegas and will be sitting near finish line.:0corn

Grabbed #48(6-1) for 100. Going for 4 in a row here.Odds already going down on him.
Also Kenseth(10-1) for 60.--Awesome here.Last 5 yrs @LV 4th,2nd,8th,1st,1st.
Hometown guy Kurt Busch(16-1) for 20.
Hometown guy Kyle Busch(12-1) for 40.2nd,3rd,9th here last 3 years.I think he gets the 1st ever Toyota win at some point(he seems better than Smoke,jury out on Hamlin).


I have been ICE COLD thus far, so careful in listening to me. Although, Daytona is pure luck and the rain made the race screwed up this past weekend.
Any excuse not to blame myself for bad picks.:mj16:

Patrick Carpentier over Dario Franchetti -120 2 units winner

Carpentier has open wheel experience here started on the pole and finished third.

Carpentier has to make in on his qualifying attempt. Where Franchetti is already in on owners point's, I like this setup as Carpentier will spend Fridays practice time on qualifying only.

Go or Go homers will be the last to go out and qualify. Added advantage to Carpentier.

And last but not least Carpentier was faster 3 out of four test sessions back earlier this year.

Best part of my trips to Vegas actual race of indoor gokarts that top out around 50mph.
Right off the strip and very much worth doing.

My dad wanted to go so he bought race tix and sprung for nice hotel.
Weather looks great. I have been to many tracks,but LV is not one.
Bristol is still my top choice with 'Dega 2nd.

Just 1 qualify play:
Kahne(-110) over Newman for 110---Kahne last 4 qualify here 1,5,7,1. Newman 39,11,1,5.

Tough loss. Kahne slams into wall in practice.Had to get repairs just to try his qualify.
I am having some bad luck these days.

Great time.
Bad place to watch a race. Track is not banked well enough for fans and the large building in the pit at finish blocks some part of the track for about 75% of the fans.I couldn't see turn 1 because of it.
SWA helped me get out of Vegas this morning.
Standby to Phx, 2 hr layover, then 1/2 full flight to Hou. Not bad for layover for a free ticket.
FastTrack was awesome as usual.
I took 3rd in a 11 car race. Was forced to start last and ran out of time to catch the top 2.Times showed I was coming though.
