I just played this. Three reasons

Josh Jacobs if I was starting a team today and had to pick a starting running back that?s my guy

I love the fact the raiders spent upwards of $57 million dollars on their offensive line. How important is that in post season football?

Which brings me to Derek Carr - a more than capable QB especially when given the time and can deliver the long ball

Gruden scares me a bit and the defense will need to tighten up down the stretch

Raiders to win AFC Championship +1800
Raiders to win SuperBowl +3500

I?ll be watching!

Is Jacobs even in the top 10?

And the raiders won't sniff the afc or super bowl title.....not even sure they make the playoffs (although with one more team and a weak afc they could sneak in)

Cmac - currently in his 4 year and out with an injury
Derek Henry - currently in his 5th in the nfl
Calvin Cook - 4th year back
Elliott - 5th year back
Kamara - 4th year back
Saquon - 3rd year back

The average length of career for nfl running backs is 2.66 years so even Barkley the youngest of the group has eclipsed the average. Backs in this league don?t last long I?m sure you know. They almost completely disappear into thin air, skill wise anyway. Think about some of the past RB?s that virtually disappeared during their prime. Jamal Anderson, Shaun Alexander, a little more recently M Lynch. Running backs put the poof in magic dragons.

You say the raiders won?t sniff but they might sneak in, I say if they sneak in they have a chance to win. It?s happened many times over again and what it comes down too is who plays the best ball in late December and January.
