My wife and I are trying to plan a trip to Las Vegas - with some of our friends in Feb.

Just a few questions - Where can I find a cheap flight, We are thinking about staying at the MGM just wandering what it was like - What shows are good to go to - sites to see... anything else that we need to check into...

Any input is greatly appreciated

Thanks

If I have any piece of advice for Vegas (I'm not a frequent traveller there but I have been a couple of times), it is to NOT stay at the MGM. This place was miserable in my opinion.

Other than that, I won't be worth much. I liked Mandalay Bay.

Have a great time!

I second Dawgball. Avoid the MGM at all costs. Stay at the Mandalay Gay or just about anything this side of Excalibur.....

find good air from this site. www.sidestep.com

you have to download it but it only takes a minute and well worth it.

i like mandalay bay and the venetian. venetian would be better if you're taking the wife. nice suites, great shopping and great restaurants.

AR-I just felt like one of the masses there....which I always will be in Vegas, it just seems like Mandalay, Rio and the Venetian do a better job of hiding it. Does that make sense?

Have fun Tiger fan......

I felt the same way at MGM. The other thing is that I felt like I was in a maze the entire time. I'm not just talking about trying to get out of the slot maze, but I had a hard time finding my room every time I tried to get there. Granted I was hammered, but those hallways are a bitch when you can't see 5 feet in front of you. I really felt like it took 10-15 minutes to get down to my room. Of course my room was close to the last one in the hallway, too.
