I agree. I had it done about 4 years ago and it is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have had very minimal problems with the only problem being occasional blurriness when I am really really tired. Even that is so minor, I have no regrets. It is so nice not to have to deal with the pain in the ass contacts

$2800 an eye or both?
I have to dish out $2700 an eye, but like you two have said it is worth it.

Here is the place doing my eyes, I researched every please in Toronto, went to every consultation and felt most comfortable with these guys.

Handi have you notice if your eyes were getting any weaker since you had this procedure? I always wondered if it wore off or weaken after so many years. I wear glasses and would love to end this fiasco.

I also had it done about 7 years ago and it was great, NO GLASSES ETC.

I did have to have both eyes done again 4 yrs later as I was one in 10,000 patients that my eyes did start changing back to original measurements.

Had the retouch in both eyes and has been perfect ever since.

Highly recommend this procedure. I paid $2500 per eye and had it done at TCL Inc the same place and doctor that did Tiger Wood's surgery.

Only charged me $500 total for retouch.

Had it done 6 or 7 years ago, great decision. Started 20/15 now a little worse but that is to be expected.

My advice...they are your eyes, it isn't time to bargain shop. Find someone with a lot of successful surgeries under their belt.

I have considered it many times. If they could cure my floaters I would do it in a second. Went in for a consult. and asked if they could zap the floaters and they said no. Not worth it to me to just to get rid of the glasses, but still may consider it around age 35.

Anyone else have floaters in their eyes?

Did they say anything about your age Dr. Strange? As far as maybe might need a redo later?

I've had floaters for as long as I can remember. Some people say they are annoying but they never bothered me.

How do they NOT bother you? Maybe mine are bigger? They drive me nuts with certain backgrounds, and I have special glasses for Golf to try and reduce them. I have to wait on them to float by before I swing because they blurr my vision. I was told the only fix is to suck the fluid out of the eye and replace with silicone, or send vibrations into my face and try and break up the bigger ones.

uhhh, no thanks! Wish they could just zap em with a laser!

Don't know why they don't bother me. Some are pretty big and a lot of them. Maybe because I blink and don't concentrate on them?

In like 97 or 98 I had one of my Golf sponsors who was a super player himself and ex FBI guy offer to pay for me to have this done. He was old college buddies with one of the first guys to start doing it. He had it done and was just raving about it. I said are you fukcing crazy, LASERS in my eyes? WTF?!?

10 years later it's like going to the dentist...

I had laser surgery three years ago,

I was legally blind w/o glasses -8.5 right eye -7.50 left eye :scared :scared :scared

$2500.00 per eye and insurance covered it all. The company I worked for covered $5000.00 worth and so many people were getting it done, they stopped covering last year :mj07: :mj07:

wore contacts/glasses since 11 years old, yeah 25 years later :com: :com: ,it was the best thing I've done.
now I'm 20/20 in BOTH eyes :00hour

Dr. Stephen Brint did my surgery. One of, if not the best in the COUNTRY...

Below is a link about him/website

..... Dr. Brint is one of the most experienced LASIK surgeons in the United States and performed the first LASIK Eye Surgery in this country. :scared

Good Luck Doc! Hope everything works out for you. I'm actually one of the few people in my family with decent eyesight. Ex-bitch had it done and she loves it. She hasn't had any problems and its been 3 years.
