i have traumatic glaucoma in my right eye from an old sports injry....had that surgery and if i could have a do-over,i wouldn`t do it again.....
my glaucoma wasn`t all that bad to begin with....but,a cataract developed on the eye,so i figured wtf, kill 2 birds with one stone....
i was going back to the doctor for almost a year on a routine basis trying to keep the drainage in the eye open....
injections(it was actually a cancer drug they use...and i hate putting chemicals like that in my body unless i have no choice)......constant pressing on the eye to drain and reduce pressure....a royal pain in the ass....
it`s my fault for not investigating more thoroughly....but,i had no idea how arduous the follow-up would be....
and my eye pressure`s still borderline...not really bad.....i figured i could probably avoid drops in the future....
check out your doctor...and find out about follow-up care before you do anything...
