Really getting tired of coming out a little ahead or a little behind everyday. Need to nail something REALLY worthwhile.

A bunch of interesting races today, but some of them are just too competitive. Fosho betting two of them .....

3rd race: Top rated horse is the no. 6. I watched that no. 6 run his last race and there's just no way I can bet him today. Dead last as the favorite with no excuses whatsoever. I think there may be some value in boxing 1-5-7 in zacktas and just keep my fingers crossed that Vinny's (no. 6) last race wasn't a fluke. BTW, I think boxing isn't a good way to bet, but when you just can't separate them ya gotta do it.

8th race: Gonna do a little mix n matching in this race. Provided the no. 6 isn't a deadhead in the prerace/paddock.. I'll be on trifectas - 6/1,2,7,8/1,2,7,8. Also 1,2,8 OVER 6,7. Double tickets on that "magic" 2 OVER 6 jobbie.

Honorable Mention :)
That there no. 1, Bear's Godfather is one I've been watching and is rated pretty high per my figures. If he looks decent enough, I'll be doing something with him in the 7th.

How bout them Louisville Cards last night? Covering the spread was all luck (for me), but they were the better team methinks.

We're entering the DOG DAYS of Summer.. luv the time of the season, but not the sports. Baisebawl? You kidding, NO THANKS. For me that's just fighting terrible odds while doing this :00011 Just tennis and hosses for me for awhile now and MANY days will be neither. .

G.L. today

wrap up

wrap up

Sure got fooled by that Looker, no. 2 who went off at 5/2. May still be running along with the no. 9. Typical results for a "No Play" race.

How bout collecting $886 on a 10 cent Zuppa ticket?
Keep dreaming. :bed:

Thinking about dreaming - this comes to mind - Did I eva tellyas bout what happened on one of my Vegas trips with the Mrs? Out there for a week and spent one day at the mountains. We did some climbing ... er, that is, we climbed the hills and watched the daredevils climb the mountains. We also walked the entire strip that day. Tellyas, just climbing little hills at that altitude (Nevada) felt like you climbed a mountain when you got done. Whew!

Next day we decided to rest up at the ole Keno parlor for most of the afternoon. Free dwinks (minus tips) and nice and relaxing. OF COURSE, I brought along my pad and pencil to track every no. drawn while we were there (about 3 hrs. of so. Dumb Bell, right?). Well, I tracked the nos. and noted the nos. that came in the most and the nos. that came in the least. Near the end of the 3+ hours, I started crossing off any no. on my list that got drawn. Got it down to 5 nos. remaining and told Joanie Bird (the Mrs.) that we'll just watch and see which ones, IF ANY, come in and then just play whatever nos. are left for the last 5 or so games we'd watch from that point on. Each game cost 1 stinkin dollar. I was thinking about putting 2 or 5 bucks on the remaining games, but didn't get that far.

We watched that last game,JUST WATCHED. Oh yeah we watched EVERY FREAKIN one of them 5 remaining nos. get drawn. EVERY FUCKING one of them. I musta compared the drawn nos. to my piece of paper at least 10x. Couldn't believe it.. AND we just happened to be in a high paying Keno casino too.. New Orleans. 5 for 5 pays 10 GRAND there for a buck.

Oh yeah, NO :bed: nights for awhile after that fiasco., Ain't gamblin fun sometimes?

Maybe there's a lunker out there in the deep blue sea waiting for me.. . gotta check out the fishing report. Oil up them joints robot visitors from outa space and git ready for Saturday. :)
