Might as well post my plays for today and call it a week. I'd LUV to put two winning days in a row together; never thought that would be a problem for me at this track before. It has been lately.
st race: Resorting to the good ole exacta style plays that used to work like a charm... .. zactas, 1,4 top/bot 3,5
nd race: No. 6 looks like he deserves favoritism. Play it anyway you like. DON'T forget, if you decide to go with zactas - don't leave out the magic no. that goes with 6. That would be no. 2.
th race: Spent a lot of time on this one which actually DOESN'T mean much come to think of it. Anyway, came up with 4,7 top/bot 5,8. No side action.
th race: Here's how I gotem rated: 2,5,1,8. I agree that no. 2 does rate top billing. Value plays would be the no. 5 and 8 to WIN only; odds should be decent enough to allow those plays. I am very familiar with every horse in this race and that's USUALLY a good thing.
th race: I can't understand why the bettors keep ignoring a damn good horse that is in this race, Valentinos Gold. V.G. has good speed at BOTH ends of a race, a very good post today, and a jockey I like to see on my hoss. It'll be interesting to see if they continue to ignore this decent 5 year old at the betting windows today. I won't be.
