The Padres look to complete the series sweep today,
and the situation couldn't be more favorable. Justin
Germano comes into action with a 2.67 ERA in his
nine starts, having helped his club achieve the top
team ERA in all of baseball (3.00 overall). San Diego
has beaten LA in 7 of 11 already (+$260), and they
check in with a 13-7 record in day games this year
(+$620). Chad Billingsley has not looked very sharp
in his only two starts (8.22) and the Dodgers are a
pitiful 2-9 (-$760) in day games vs. righthanders,
with only 3.0 runs per game in those contests. The
short price on the visitor is too good to pass up.
