Figured I would move my post in here with all the cool kids :D

okay i have seen a few of the good cappers in here on UNLV, but why???????

Hawaii are no slouches and eight points would seem to be too much in my opinion......Carl English can light it up and they rebound better than the rebs so it looks like they could keep it close if not even sneak a win out.....Phil Martin also takes some of the heat off English where it seems like all the rebels have is Banks....

someone talk me down from the ledge because it looks like i am jumping.....

Puff, Puff (cough)

OK, I think you gotta like UNLV in this spot. Hawaii piss-poor on the road (3-10) with a not mucg better ATS record (4-8-1). True, UNLV is only 7-11 ATS at home, but with the exception of Colorado St. they have been playing much better lately. As long as they haven't folded up the tents since they didn't make the NCAA, I think they roll here.

Or maybe I've just smoked too much :D

The way things are going tonight, a lot of teams are getting up a comfortable lead or so they thought, only to blow the lead and barely win or not win at all, (see Seton Hall) so I am leary of laying down on UNLV because of this. Though I have been terrible at western games this year, so if I make a pick it would not be a bad idea to fade me!

Thats all I got for now, maybe a pick later.

what does anyone think about UNLV -4.5 in the 1st half to hopefully avoid a potential meltdown? What are people's thoughts on the total of 63.5?

Welp lokking it over it is the last game of the night so I have to give it a good healthy whack....

Hawaii and the Under in the first half and in the game.....

I figure if the UNLV backers that are backing the Hawaii is tired angle if this holds up the under could come into play and it seems to me that some of these teams in the NIT have to play half before they knock off some rust which will keep it tight and low scoring...passing on the money line, but this kid English has mad skills....

Fletcher's on UNLV and that's good enough for me. I know he follows UNLV closer than other schools and his earlier post made my decision for me. Plus, I'm a fan of Charlie Spoonhour.

Taking Hawaii +8.5. They are playing better in their last couple games. Played Tulsa tough on their home floor in the Wac tourney. UNLV is not consistent. Dont know which team will show up especially after that tough loss to Col st.

Took Hawaii +8 and lookin at a GREAT big half time middle chance. UNLV doesnt want to play D and Hawaii is shooting near 90% lol.. i may just keep my Hawaii + 8 as its looking like thats gonna come through SO FAR....

I will say this....

I will say this....

.....whatever happens (and Hawaii has a 15 pt lead late in the 1H right now), the Warriors have been involved in some tough defensive battles late in the regular season and in the WAC tourney. But as a result, their scoring avg and shooting % had dipped as well. Tonight vs. UNLV I'm very surprised that they've been able to put up over 40 pts in the 1H, but it's obvious that they are playing a poor defensive club. The Rebs have yet to figure out how to defend UH's flex motion offense and they're turning over the ball a lot, too. UH playing tough "D" especially in transition.
