I really like UNLV tonight eventhough I see a lot on New Mexico. I can't really see ANY justification to take New Mexico in this spot. Lets take a look at New Mexico's wins against these POWERHOUSE TEAMS!

Portland St (100 years away from that national title)
N. Arizona (Should fold up there college basketball program)
W. New Mexico (Was this a scrimage?)
San Diego St *good win*

Now granted UNLV has been playing like crap lately with 3 losses SU BUT playing much better comp then New Mexico. As for some stats UNLV is 5-5 ATS with 3 of there 7 games going over the total. New Mexico is 4-5 ATS with there totals going 1-1 over/under.

My initial thoughts are UNLV and the UNDER yes.. UNDER for the 1H. Neither team plays great in the 1H with UNLV averaging 31.4 points/1h in there last 5 with New Mexico averaging 35.6 while holding there opponents to 30.4 in there last 5. Think the play gets decided in the first 5-7 minutes of the start of the game. I think these big monday games on ESPN get the crowds going and the teams come out shaky and a little pumped up. I lean towards UNLV just because IMO they are the better team. Not set on either play yet so please provide opinions!

playing the under as well, hopefully its hits so i don't chase 2h... i think new mexico is playing better ball, even held its own vs. wyoming on the road then started a winning streak so they've been on the upswing! i think this came comes down to who has a better game at the 4 spot ( n.m. jamal williams or unlv dalron johnson). i been watching these since high school and williams is much more physical...slight leasn to home team!
