As always, very poised and compassionate over the last 10 days. Always says the right thing and makes you believe that she's genuine.

Could you imagine if Teresa Heinz Kerry was rattling around these shelters 'comforting' victims?

Oh my.

Do you really think Teresa would mingle with "the other America"
--with that being said despite looking sincere and probably being so in my view-- anytime you bring the camera's --99% of the time your in there for the show--case in point how many black churches to you think kerry been in since he lost election.
Will say if/when GW and Bubba attend church they would have portion attending that are black--but doubt either are serving turkey to the home boys at Thanksgiving other than election time.
Both sides equally quility on the political photo sessions.

you are babbling, dtb. a simple 'thank you' to kosar for extending the laurel and hearty handshake of complimenting the first lady would have sufficed.

djv - i'm 35 and i'd do her too! ....(not at the same as you of course)

Ray,

I call it as I see it, for or against whatever side of the fence. No reason to be surprised as i've done it plenty. My biggest problem with this admin is with our occupation of Iraq and that's what I post most about because that's what a lot of the threads have been about for the last 2 1/2 years. That does NOT make me a commie, socialist or any other name that these guys have pegged me with. It only makes me someone who thinks that war is ridiculous, and it doesn't, or wouldn't have, mattered what party did this. My reaction would have been the same if a Dem did this.

DJV and Smurphy,

Funny shit... lmao...but I can see where the YOUNGER Barbara gets her looks. Jenna isn't bad either.

Wayne,

Not sure where your 'photo-op' stuff comes from. That's not what I meant at all. Laura is a very classy, genuine woman and I posted that before the election as well. She represents the government very, very well.

As for the thought of whether Teresa would 'mingle' with the other side at the shelters? Well, I think she would probably more or less have to. And she would embarrass the hell out of everybody.

The thief from Pittsburgh would not get dirt on her shoes so would never have to worry if she would of been there.

Hell she is to good for Pittsburgh the skank should not even have that heinz in her name. Don't get me ranting on the sponge went though that during election time and what she is thought of in Pittsburgh.

kosar-- I agree. I think Laura Bush is the epitomy of First Lady. Something else that I believe is pretty genuine is the marriage between her and George. They really seem to be in love not just for political sake.

Theresa Heinz-Kerry -- you just reminded me that she was almost our first "lady". you are exactly right. that would have been scary.

smurphy--thank kosar for a compliment to Laura Bush? :mj07:

I hate George and the admin, and the job they have done. The First lady though is the best one of my lifetime. Not even close.

She should be given the job permanently

She has my respect.

As far as her husband, I've been against his policies and shenanigans since the beginning, but I feel for him. I truly do. I think he's doing his best and I believe he cares now.

Smurphy,

You are correct. Thanks for pointing out what should be obvious but apparently it flew over Dawgballs head. People should be thanking me, big time.

Hey, somebody *did* thank me and it was palehose. And I think it's all because of your plea, Smurph. Thank you.
