1) What's the best way to eliminate a bare patch on your lawn? I don't typically like chemicals on my property, but I'm sellling it so I need to do a quick fix. It's not a large area.

2) My porch previously had indoor/outdoor carpeting on it. It leaves residue. What's the best/cheapest way to eliminate that and restore it to it's normal concrete look without the glue or remnants that remain?

I can no longer stand living so far away from FDC Cris, thus, I have decided to move closer.

Thanks for any replies. I think these answers are in the "man-law" book, but, alas, I don't have a copy.

Thanks in advance...

Kelly

STEP 1) Tell FDC to quit peeing on your lawn.

STEP 2) Buy enough sod to cover the patch. This is a terrible time of year to seed and get results quickly.

STEP 3) Water the hell out of your new sod.

About the grass you might try looking in the drinking thread "anyone drinking brews tonight". You got guys pissing on decks_A_K, pissing off of decks J_C_and then the guys that just piss in the pool _IN_Y. Also the guys that piss under the grill like_ORR_S. They might know.

Nice Spongy....:nono:

Kelly, You can pick up a bag of patch repair for your lawn at Home Depot or Lowe's. It's formulated with seed and fertilizer so all you do is add water. It's made up to hold the water but you do have to water every day. Hope this helps.

yep, that stuff works pretty good, Turf Builder, I think it's called, but this is a horrible time to get the results you probably want. If you prep the ground first, you might have better results with sod.

Sounds like the porch needs a chemical glue solvent first followed by a pressure washing, or just pressure washing it might work. You can rent one, or you probably have an acquaintance you can borrow one from. If you want to pay somebody, there are tons of jacklegs out there that will do pressure washing for a pretty cheap price. I always have some flyer in my mailbox from somebody that does pressure washing.

I've seen a grass seed product recently touted on tv as being like grass seed on steroids. It claims to even grow on concrete.

Here's the link for Patch Perfect!

I have saw this stuff being used ten years ago on jobs so becareful about the price. This is not like something that just came out. It seems that way but it isn't. First thing i thought when i saw this commercial was what took so long. Good way to make a ton of money tho. Stuff does grow on anything.
