I had a good day yesterday. New york client.
I gave him a proposal for welding and repairing 26 large steel containers he uses to ship freight overseas. He didn't flinch at the price. He has 500 more, if I can prove we can do it in a timely manner. And he wants me to give him a price on fabricating new ones. Oh yeh I will add that up.
Have to use certified welders for this type of work.

Damn this may cut into my picture posting time. Sons of a beech !

That's wonderful, Scotty. I'm very proud of you and happy for you. How does a guy in the fencing/handrail biz get large contracts to weld and fabricate shipping containers? Good luck with this!

its just repairs of damaged ones. I do structural repairs all the time so this is easy. Last week we welded a I-beam inside a elevator shaft that had broke. We had on safety harness and I stayed on the top of the elevator on a ladder while the work was done 10 ft above me. I don't like heights so I hated it and I don't think I would do it again. I get alot to weld inside a elevator shaft on the 19th floor of a condominium high rise in Buckhead. Especially when there is fear factor involved.

Got to not keep all your eggs in one basket.

I told him that we could make new ones if he needed us to. I would just have to buy a few new machines. My philosophy is find a need and fill it. It don't always work out though.

Damn back to work.

There is no limits to what I could do if I stop picture posting and wagering and just stick to business.

I really am only motivated so much though with money. Its just more tax to pay.

Well, as for Taoist, I would pay to watch him share a jail cell with Martha......he is probably right though, the police do lie on the stand on occasion, my father was a police officer in London and I know it happens there, so why not here?

What Taoist may not be sympathetic to is why they lie. They lie because our ridiculous justice system has swung the pendulum so absurdly in favor of the defendants that occasionally to nail one of the bad guys the good guys need to lie.
